AdaRose Wins Role in $495 Million Contract

AdaRose Wins ROle in $495 Million Contract

Teamed with L-3 Communications, one of three contractors awarded the Force Protection Security System (FPS2) contract, AdaRose will work with L-3’s Global Security & Engineering Solutions Division. FPS2 will provide integrated base defense physical security systems at U.S. Air Force and other U.S. Defense Department sites worldwide.

AdaRose receives Contract Award from the U.S. Army Joint Munitions & Lethality Life Cycle Management Command.

AdaRose will provide software engineering support for Artillery & Tank Weapon Systems and Virtual Trainers. This is a $75 Million Task Order Contract, shared with 6 other contractors, supporting the Armament Software Engineering Center at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ.

AdaRose was selected as a key subcontractor to Compumatics, Penobscot Bay Media, and Professional Solutions. These three winning prime contractors leveraged AdaRose's excellence in System and Software Design, Development, Engineering, and Integration as well as Emerging Technologies, Trainers/Simulators, and IV&V support, to help them garner their awards. This is a 10-year, $5 Billion, Task Order Contract designed to provide business opportunities for service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses.

With three published articles on Software Risk Management, the President of AdaRose and his engineers mitigate risk through a defined yet flexible process using rapid prototyping, and "feature set" deliveries, to keep clients in the loop from the get-go through final testing and delivery. AdaRose awarded Letter of Recognition by Northrop Grumman:

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems issues Letter of Recognition to AdaRose for 5 outstanding years of contract work. "Most notable was the successful deployment and fielding of Paladin's new artillery digital fire control system for the Soldier." AdaRose successfuly completed 10 separate task orders over the 5 year contract period.

AdaRose is teamed with Raytheon and CACI on the SeaPort Enhanced Navy Contract:

This is the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) vehicle for obtaining electronic procurement of Engineering, Technical and Programmatic support services for NAVSEA Warfare Centers and other directorates. It has a $47.8 Billion Ceiling and is effective until 2019.

AdaRose receives Graphical User Interface (GUI) Work from NORTHROP GRUMMAN:

Northrop Grumman Space and Mission Systems Corporation in California, awarded work to AdaRose for development of a new Graphical User Interface (GUI) for the Paladin Digital Fire Control System (PDFCS). The new interface will replace an all-text based interface that relied heavily on keypad input with a state of the art graphical display system with touch screen input.

AdaRose receives Software Work from NORTHROP GRUMMAN:

Northrop Grumman Space and Mission Systems Corporation in California, awarded work to AdaRose for development of the Version 11P Software for the new Paladin Digital Fire Control System. Northrop Grumman, as System Integrator, is providing PM Paladin with significant technological improvements to the Army's Paladin Self Propelled Howitzer System. This program was successfully completed, has gone through Format Qualifications Testing (FQT), and is now being fielded.

For AdaRose engineers this was not the first time they have taken existing military software and adapted it to run on new hardware. Previous software rehostings included:

1. Paladin legacy software was integrated with a new computer unit with a Pentium processor and commercial operating system (Windows NT)

2. Mortar Ballistic Computer software was reused to build a Mortar Fire Direction Center System application

3. Paladin Automatic Fire Control System (AFCS) software was reused to build a Digital Fire Control System (DFCS) for the 155AH RFPI (precursor to Towed Artillery Digitization - TAD)

4. Paladin AFCS software was integrated with Force XXI Battle Command, Brigade and Below (FBCB2) Situational Awareness for the Paladin Enhanced Display System

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (formerly TRW Mission Systems) awarded follow on work to AdaRose to provide fieldable software modules for 1.) a software solution to replace the Azimuth and Elevation Tachometers on the Paladin Self Propelled Howitzer with rate data obtained from the inertial navigation system and 2.) a software solution to allow Paladin’s digital fire control system to display and control, in a windows environment, the current fire control screens while supporting the displays of Situational awareness/FBCB2 screens in a secondary mode of operation.

AdaRose Inc. successfully completed these two software modules in 2003.

AdaRose receives Software Work from SECHAN ELECTRONICS, INC:

SECHAN based in Lititz, PA was awarded the Paladin Digital Fire Control System Contract from Northrop Grumman to supply new hardware components for the Paladin Self Propelled Howitzer. AdaRose received a Purchase Order for Software Development support on Paladin's Prognostic/ Diagnostic Interface Unit for this soon-to-be modernized Army Artillery System. AdaRose engineers have worked with SECHAN engineers before on successful Army programs; most noteworthy was the Paladin AFCS XXI program.

Teamed with ARDEC, AdaRose completed the Paladin Automatic Fire Control System (AFCS) Troubleshooting, Repair and Maintenance Contract:

The objective was to diagnose and correct anomalies in the operation of the Paladin Navigation subsystem.

AdaRose developed an investigation plan to determine the root cause of the problem, provided test software to the Government, and participated in the execution of the investigation plan. The problem was found in a hardware component and AdaRose delivered a final findings report to the Government.

AdaRose designated as a Lockheed Martin Supplier:

As a member of Lockheed Martin's Global Supply Chain, AdaRose is an integral partner in Lockheed's Mission Success team.

AdaRose designated as Curtiss-Wright Controls (formerly VISTA CONTROLS) supplier:

AdaRose recently provided engineering support to VISTA CONTROLS, a Curtiss-Wright Company, for an in-house R&D project.
